Chihuahua

Hi,

You have no idea how much we love Chi... She's so patient with Cheyenne who is 3, you know and insists on leading chi around by a leash all over the house... We all love her !  I just wanted to thank you again for her...

Hugs, Connie

PooChin

We picked up Freddie (Cameron) at 12:15, it is now 5:00. Do you think he will like his new home. See the attachments. Great little dog. He will be a terror. #36 seems to be his favorite spot. Note that he is on top of placemats. That will give you an idea on his size. He really is very cute. You guys did a great job. ~ Thanks! Tricia

Casey has made it home safely - and I AM IN LOVE!  I am sure another purchase for a companion will soon follow - everything went smoothly with the transaction at the pickup.....  He is soooo cute i just love him to pieces. Off the the vet today! ~ Carey

Poodle

I am so happy to say that Tommy is finally home.  His flight got delayed an hour but he was ok.  He was pretty shy at first but now he is happy as ever.   He is eating and drinking, playing and for the most part is potty trained on his wee wee pads.  We took him to the vet yesterday and the doctor said he is perfectly healthy.  He got his second vaccination and also some flea medicine just in case.  I love him to death! He was pretty tired from the flight so he took a long nap the first day but he is so energetic now! Thank you for everything! I've attached a few pictures.  ~ Take Care!  Jackie

Japanese Chins

Abby has landed. Jasper would not stop falling Abby around.  He is being so protective and its really cute.   I've attached some pictures.  Abby kept just walking around wagging her little tail.  I think she felt better when she saw Jasper.  It probably made her feel more secure.   They were both drinking out of the water dish together and eating together.  ~ Christine and Mom Linda

Chihuahua

I just wanted to say thank you for facilitating the adoption of our new baby, Oliver (Tippy Toes).  Here is a picture of him at Easter.  He is still really tiny, and I call him my "holy terror" because he growls and fusses at bigger dogs, but he is still pretty sweet!   He rides in my purse everywhere and gets attention from everyone we pass.  I need you to send me a stack of business cards, everyone wants to know where to get him!  The kids love him and they have a rowdy playtime every afternoon when everyone is home.  My daughter, who never had much interest in animals, has really adopted him as her own.  He is HER "sweet baby".  She even got a special bag to carry him around in.  She is quite shy, and it has been such a blessing to have him break the ice with strangers. She is even conversing with people like never before.
~ Thanks again!  Mandi

Chihuahua

Just wanted to thank you once more for the 1 and a half pound of joy that was brought into my life! Tyson is a riot...and he's spoiled! I was pleased to see that he arrived at the airport safely and I was also pleased to see that he was clean and kissable upon arrival! He is the happiest little puppy I've ever seen and I'm amazed at how wonderful of a personality he has. He's my first puppy and I treat him as if he's my first baby-mostly because he acts like he's my baby. He loves car rides so I take him just about everywhere I go. I have to admit, I was a little nervous buying a puppy over the internet especially since I've never seen him in person or come in contact with him. But now I'm glad I did and I want to thank you for uniting me with my Tyson. We're both happy to have each other!   ~ Roberta

Overall it was a great experience; your responses to us were fantastic. You are a very easy person to deal with and everyone that asks me were I got Justice I give your name and a full recommendation. I can’t think of any negatives except the wait because of the heat, so unless you can change the weather and didn’t tell us you could your fantastic. ~  Stephen

Dear Family,

I've settled into my new life rather quickly and extremely well, I think.  The little red headed girl, Tori, is pretty neat most of the time.  Her grandparents, mother, and aunt are all pretty cool.  I have a really, really big back yard to play in and soccer is our main sport....I'm getting quite good at it!  I can hold the ball so no one can take it away now.  I either hold it against my chest with my chin and front paws or I stand over it!  Arf, arf!!  And I can run a long way without losing control of the ball, too.

I have my own room here which I like a lot.  When I'm tired, I'll just go in on my own and lie down.  No one else can come in 'cause it's just mine!  And Bear's, too, of course.  I share with him!  I have toys to play with and chews to bite on when I begin to get nippy.  And I get treats when I do something good.

I am going to school to learn how to do things and my trainer, Mike, is pretty much cool except when he has to get my attention by jerking my lead!  I don't stray from my lesson often because I don't like that much.  Besides it's much more cool to get a treat for good behavior.  He says I am a very cool dog.....I'm calm, confident, and pay attention.  He likes me a lot.  Tori gets to work with me at the lessons, too.  This week I got to learn "down" which means I lie down when told.  I already learned how to sit at home!  He was surprised!!

When the weather has been nice I get to walk Tori to school and back with either her grandma or grandpa.  Her Aunt Traci is home part of this week for Thanksgiving and she walked me to school to pick up Tori Wednesday.  I like going to the school because I get attention from the kids there!  I've even gotten to go into her classroom with her grandpa once.  That was fun!

Well, I'm tired and am ready for bed.  I'll write and send more pictures soon.  (English Shepherd)

Wags to all.......

Hi, family!
It's been awhile since my first email and I thought maybe it's time to
write and let you know how I'm doing.

I'm almost all grown up now and have no baby teeth to lose now.  I weigh in at just a bit over 50 pounds and my people tell me I'm quite handsome!

 T. has a trampoline that I absolutely love to get on with her even when
she bounces on it.  And I play frisbee and catch all the time.  I'm still
in training classes and will probably stay in them for another year.  I've
graduated to a group class where I'm the youngest. Grandma wants me
to learn to search so I can help Mike (my trainer) and Gunner (his German Shepherd) when they get called to help locate elderly people who wander off sometimes.  We play search with T. often...she hides and calls me  (usually only twice) and I find her.  I'm supposed to one day learn to find her by smell.  That will take some time.  Mike wants to go to the park sometime  so I can find him.  Hmmm...that should be interesting.

I have a really big red, hard ball I like to herd around the yard.  My
people put it up after about 15 minutes, though, because I get too tired
and they don't want to hear me yap and bark at it any longer.  Herding is in  my blood!!  : )

I also like to chase bubbles when T. blows them...they are fun to snap
at.
I have all kinds and sizes of balls and chew bones in my toybox
as well.  I believe you could say I'm rather spoiled???????  Oh, and I
LOVE to climb up on things!!  Grandma helps me climb up on T.'s slide 'cause I can't yet get my back feet to cooperate.  I love sliding down, though! Whee!!!  I DO climb up on her glider by myself though.  Give me a climb command and I'm looking hard for anything to climb up on.

I get bathed in the tub every 2 or 3 weeks and I really like that.  I feel
and smell so good afterwards that I have to run around inside for just a
bit after I get towel dried.  Sometimes I just climb in the tub and wait for someone to get to it.  Other times I climb in T.'s bathwater, but then I just have to get back out.  Bummer!

I keep the yard pretty free of critters....squirrels, rabbits, birds, bees,

Poochin

  Hi Ellie!!

I'm doing well with my new family.  I've been growing alot, check out my picture, and I had alot of fun at Christmas.  Did you know there is alot of boxes to chew on and paper to chase?  I'm trying really hard to go potty where they want me to but I'd rather poop inside on the floor.  I'm working on that.  I have to go have another shot on Jan. 9th.  Thank goodness the vets office was closed over the holidays or they may have taken me sooner.  .....  These people have some cats that are way bigger than me but I like to pick on Simba, he looks just like my dad.  I like to take naps on laps and I'm trying not to bite the people.  Olivia loves to carry me around but Hannah's not quite sure about me yet.  Have a happy new year and say HI to mom and dad.  Mischa

Hi Ellie,

Dear Mrs. Schipper,

You arranged for us to welcome a poochin into our home on May 25, 2006. My daughter kept in contact with you until the litter was born and you sent Brimley to us by plane.

It is holiday season and I wanted you to know what you have done for us. I was married very happily for forty years and lost my husband to cancer in 2002. Melissa moved home with me a little over a year ago. I found the holidays very sad and painful until this year. I have never had anything to do with animals. We never had pets. When Melissa ordered Brimley I planned to have nothing to do with her. Instead, she came into our home and into my heart. I love her so much that I feel blessed to have her greet me every day. Thank you for bringing her into the world and especially for sending her to us. My world is a better place. Happy holidays.

M. B.

Hope you holiday was as pleasurable as ours.  Olivia's gift was quite a surprise.  She was shocked when Tiki's head popped out of the shopping bag with a big gold bow around her neck and a tag that read: To Olivia - Love, Santa.  Well it was love at first sight.  Tiki is quite the little girl.  She is cuddly, playful, fiesty, lovalbe, adorable and Olivia is the envy of all her cousins and friends.  I won't be surprised if any of their parents contact you in pursuit of a poo-chin like Tiki.   (how do you like the name?)

Hope you enjoy this picture of Olivia and her little Tiki.

Also, I took Tiki to our Vet and they found her to be in perfect health.  Thanks so much for helping us make this Christmas special for our family; we're all in love with Tiki.

Sincerely,

Mrs. I.

Hi Ellie,

Gracie is finally here and she’s beautiful! My daughter was so surprised she was actually speechless. The pup recovered pretty quickly from her plane ride and was rough-housing on the lawn with my husband in no time. She loves the cool grass and likes to flatten out completely on her belly, front and back legs stretched out. Going to need plenty of chew toys for her, she’s a beast with those little teeth when she gets riled up. But as soon as she’s picked up she turns into a lovable little cuddlebug again.

I want to thank you for raising our Gracie for the first eight weeks of her life. We love her and are happy to have her in our family. (P.S. the cats are still undecided.)
